How to use: ideal for bare, unsealed or previously oiled/waxed wood surfaces. It isn ot a hard film-forming finish like polyurethane or varnish. It is made with food-grade tallow and beeswax, excellent for cutting boards and kitchen utinsils. Test first in an inconspicuous area to check color enhancement and absorbency. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not ingest.

Prep: clean and dry wood. sand new/bare wood (220 grit). Remove dust.

Apply: gather a small amount of wood shield on a Q-tip or your finger. Rub the product into the wood surface int he direction of grain, using firm circular motions. Aim for a very thin, even layer. A little goes a long way. You should see the wood immediately begin to look richer and hydrated.

Dry: allow to penetrate wood for 2-6 hours depending on wood. 

Buff: using a dry lint free cloth, thoroughly wipe off all excess product from surface.
